PTF-1 & 2 were the first to get ready

Here is a place to collect history of the old "gassers."

There are some photos of PTF 1&2 Here and Here.

Hi, Dan: I am wondering what happened to PTF 1 & 2. I served on PTF 1 for 2 years with Phil Raccio. I know the boat was used for a target, but why isn't there more said about the 1 & 2 boats. We played a big part over there and did our job that was expected of us. I am a proud person to have been selected to serve on the PT's during the Vietnam War with the best of men I know.
